Director of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Platform Engineering & DevSecOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Platform Engineering and DevSecOps organization to design, deliver, and operate shared infrastructure for software systems
• Define and execute the long-term platform roadmap ensuring scalability, reliability, and security for a large software engineering organization
• Architect and implement AWS-based solutions and manage the DevSecOps strategy, embedding security and automation into workflows

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software or platform engineering
• Minimum of 8 years leading technical teams, with 4+ years in Platform Engineering or DevOps for a large organization
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS production systems and architecture design
• Expert in CI/CD frameworks and infrastructure as code
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
