Director of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Platform Engineering to lead teams responsible for multi-cloud infrastructure and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Set platform vision and lead execution across shared services, infrastructure, and tooling
• Design and operate secure, scalable AWS and Azure environments, establishing standards for reliability and incident management
• Create CI/CD systems and automation to improve developer velocity, quality, and consistency

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE leadership roles within a SaaS environment
• Deep experience with secure cloud architectures and infrastructure-as-code
• Strong knowledge of observability and reliability engineering practices
• Experience building internal platforms that enhance developer productivity
• Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize cloud costs at scale
