Director of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Platform Engineering to lead infrastructure, DevOps, and platform tooling for product reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud architecture, infrastructure, and scalability efforts
• Ensure system reliability through SLAs/SLOs, observability, and incident response
• Manage technical support functions, including incident triage and escalation

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Proven leadership of high-performing platform and SRE teams
• Strong experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and production operations
• Familiarity with IaC, containers, CI/CD, and observability practices
