Director of Platform Engineering
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Director of Platform Engineering, this full-time remote position will lead cloud infrastructure and corporate IT initiatives, driving scalability and reliability for a data-focused healthcare SaaS platform while actively contributing to infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud infrastructure and corporate IT operations, collaborating with security, engineering, data, and customer success teams
- Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions for the data platform and services ecosystem
- Write infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and promote best practices for automation and configuration management
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience leading cloud infrastructure and IT operations in a SaaS and/or data product environment
- 5+ years of experience building SaaS/data product infrastructure in Azure preferred
- 3+ years of experience in early-stage startups, comfortable with ambiguity and risk
- Strong hands-on expertise with infrastructure-as-code tools, preferably Terraform
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing technical team members
