Job Summary
Leading the core engineering infrastructure and AI capabilities, the full-time salaried Director of Platform Systems will manage platform engineering functions, drive AI initiatives, and ensure operational excellence while working remotely in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Own the strategy and execution for platform engineering and AI functions, including CI/CD pipelines and data engineering
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align platform priorities with business opportunities
- Develop a talent strategy to attract and grow top engineering talent across multiple teams
Required qualifications
- 12+ years in software engineering with experience in both individual contributor and management roles
- 7+ years of experience as a people manager, including managing other managers
- Proven success in leading platform, infrastructure, or AI/ML engineering organizations
- Experience in setting technical strategy for developer tooling, cloud infrastructure, or data platforms
- Strong communication and influence skills with engineering peers and executive stakeholders
