Job Summary
Overseeing the public health policy and advocacy portfolio, the part-time Director of Policy Advocacy will manage campaigns, policy analysis, and community engagement while working remotely at 25 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Identifies and develops health policy campaigns in collaboration with partner organizations
- Directs public health policy and advocacy campaigns, including strategy and personnel management
- Leads fundraising efforts and manages workstream budgeting for policy advocacy initiatives
Required qualifications
- Graduate education, preferably a Master of Public Health or equivalent
- Extensive experience in community mobilization and organizing
- Knowledge of and experience working with diverse stakeholders across various sectors
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racist practices
- Ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Office, Zoom, NationBuilder, and Asana
