Director of Policy and Advocacy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director/Senior Director of Policy and Advocacy, Basic Needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of policy and advocacy strategies for public benefit programs
• Oversee the creation and execution of TICAS' Basic Needs policy agenda
• Manage staff, providing supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in higher education, research, or advocacy
• Substantial knowledge of US public benefits programs and higher education policy
• Demonstrated ability to manage grant-funded projects and teams
• Intermediate/expert proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
