Director of Post Acute Billing

Job Summary

Overseeing key components of revenue cycle functional areas, the full-time salaried Director of Post Acute Billing will manage billing operations, optimize revenue streams, and ensure compliance while collaborating with various departments to enhance financial and operational performance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership of billing and accounts receivable follow-up operations to ensure accurate claim submission and effective denial resolution
• Monitor and improve key revenue cycle metrics such as Collections, Days in A/R, and Denials while driving operational improvements across billing functions
• Manage vendor relationships and performance to enhance cash flow and compliance with healthcare regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, finance, business administration, or a related field (required)
• Master's Degree in healthcare administration, finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in revenue cycle management (required), including 3+ years of related management experience (required)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to navigate rapidly changing situations and make independent decisions affecting department operations
