Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Research - Power Markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the QA/QC and analytical validation process for long-term price outputs
• Act as a market-informed skeptic on assumptions and ensure expert input is incorporated
• Advise senior leadership on forecast validity risks and contribute to research production

Required Qualifications

• Deep North American power-market experience, including trading or market analysis
• Experience in using or governing power-market forecasts in commercial settings
• Strong judgment in identifying meaningful issues versus background noise
• 5+ years of related experience
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
