Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic PR professional, the full-time Director of PR & Communications for EMEA will manage media relations, oversee PR campaigns, and coordinate team administration remotely for a six-month fixed-term employment, driving Global Citizen's mission to end extreme poverty.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster and maintain relationships with key reporters at top-tier media outlets, pitching innovative stories aligned with Global Citizen's objectives
• Lead the execution of PR campaigns related to Global Citizen's initiatives, including drafting and editing press materials and coordinating logistics for events
• Liaise with various departments to organize media interviews and maintain the PR team's archives for designated markets and projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Journalism, or Marketing
• 5-8 years of experience running global campaigns in entertainment, media, or politics
• Strong media relationships across top-tier outlets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
• Experience executing press events and confidence liaising with high-profile individuals
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance workflows and communication
