Director of Practice Improvement

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team of project management professionals, the fully remote Director of Practice Improvement will focus on people development, performance management, and building a cohesive team culture while managing nine direct reports and shaping departmental systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coach a team of 8-12 employees, fostering a safe and supportive environment for their growth and development
• Establish and track team goals and performance expectations, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback
• Build a formal infrastructure for people management, proposing and implementing new systems to enhance team collaboration and performance monitoring

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated management experience, including formal supervision of staff
• Bachelor's degree in project management, business, public health, social work, mental health, or a related field
• Adaptive leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on individual development and performance management
• Strong relationship-building abilities, capable of influencing in a matrixed environment
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building effective systems and processes
