Director of Privacy and Security

Job Summary

Leading a team of Privacy & Security Enterprise Engagement Officers, the full-time Director of Privacy and Security will oversee shared services within Enterprise Privacy & Security Risk Management, ensuring compliance with privacy and security regulations while fostering partnerships with key stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the Shared Services EEO team to deliver high-quality engagement across state Medicaid Health Plans and Medicare lines of business
• Interpret and operationalize privacy, security, AI, and business continuity obligations from contracts and regulations while maintaining a centralized requirements register
• Direct ongoing efforts to identify and address privacy, security, AI, and operational resilience risks in collaboration with internal and external teams

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8 years of experience with security capabilities, technologies, and architecture
• 5 years of experience leading Business Information Security Officer or Technical Enterprise Engagement teams
• 3 years of experience with government-sponsored health plan operations and associated regulatory requirements
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CGEIT
