Director of Procurement

Job Summary

To support a growing mental healthcare platform, the remote Director of Procurement will build and manage the company's procurement function from scratch, focusing on vendor lifecycle management, cost optimization, and operational infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategy and policies, including vendor selection and spend governance
• Oversee vendor lifecycle management, ensuring effective management of vendor relationships and performance
• Lead cost optimization initiatives and establish reporting infrastructure for spend visibility across the organization

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in building a procurement function from the ground up, including processes and governance
• Expertise in negotiating complex agreements across SaaS, AI, and professional services
• Strong understanding of procurement tools and systems for operational efficiency
• Ability to influence vendor decisions and build partnerships across various departments
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance procurement processes and analytics
