Director of Procurement

Job Summary

To drive procurement strategy and vendor management, the remote Director of Procurement will oversee sourcing, negotiating, and contracting for technology-related goods and services while collaborating with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and implement procurement strategy and category management for software, cloud, and infrastructure spending
• Lead complex vendor negotiations for high-value contracts, including cloud and AI services
• Manage and develop the procurement team, ensuring effective contract lifecycle management and governance

Required qualifications:

• Significant procurement leadership experience in a large technology company with a global procurement function
• Proven track record in negotiating large, complex commercial agreements and managing high-value infrastructure and cloud spend
• Experience in vendor risk management and collaboration with Legal and IT Security teams
• Strong executive communication skills, particularly with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to build and mature procurement processes and utilize AI tools for operational efficiency
