Director of Procurement

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Procurement, this full-time position will manage the end-to-end procurement process, serve as the primary owner of the Zip procurement platform, and partner cross-functionally to drive spend discipline and vendor excellence in a high-autonomy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the procurement process from intake and sourcing through contract execution and supplier onboarding
• Lead competitive sourcing events and negotiate contracts to maximize value and minimize risk
• Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to align procurement activities with company priorities

Required qualifications

• 8-10+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment
• Demonstrated experience as a procurement system administrator or power user (Zip, Coupa, Ariba, or equivalent)
• Strong contract negotiation skills with a track record of delivering measurable savings
• Experience operating as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with spend data to generate insights
