Director of Procurement

Job Summary

To facilitate strategic sourcing and procurement across multiple categories, the remote Director of Procurement will develop a high-performing procurement capability, drive cost improvements, and manage supplier relationships while overseeing a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement procurement strategy across various categories, ensuring alignment with company growth
• Manage and develop the procurement team, establishing performance standards and a data-oriented culture
• Conduct complex negotiations and build executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers to enhance procurement outcomes

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement experience, including 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record in strategic procurement across multiple categories, especially technology and professional services
• Experience in building or upgrading procurement functions in fast-growth environments
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPSM/CPM preferred
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and recommendations
