Director of Procurement

Job Summary

To oversee the end-to-end sourcing process within the Technology category, the remote contract Director of Procurement will develop and execute category strategies, lead large-scale procurement initiatives, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies that drive value, cost savings, and quality improvements
• Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, and supplier evaluations
• Manage the full contract lifecycle and monitor supplier performance to ensure alignment with category strategy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
• 6+ years of experience in Procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing
• Deep expertise in RFP drafting and managing high-value contracts
• Experience with Cloud Hyperscaler and optimizing savings through contractual relationships
• Proficiency in Procurement software and tools, with experience in platforms like Coupa, Oracle, and SAP preferred
