Director of Procurement
Job Summary
Leading the development and execution of global sourcing strategies, the full-time Director of Procurement will manage supplier negotiations, optimize inventory policies, and enhance cross-functional collaboration while working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies across direct electronics and key Contract Manufacturers
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations on S&OP to create execution-ready supply plans
- Build and mentor a high-performing sourcing and procurement team while leveraging ERP/MRP tools for process maturation
Required qualifications
- 4+ years in a senior management or director-level role in strategic sourcing and material planning
- Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and PLM software
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management within high-tech hardware or consumer electronics
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent; MBA or APICS/CPIM certification preferred
