Director of Procurement Strategy

Job Summary

Leading a centralized procurement function, the full-time salaried Director of Procurement Strategy will manage an addressable spend of approximately $30M, oversee around 150 vendor relationships, and focus on strategic sourcing and high-value negotiations in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement Manager, ensuring strategic alignment and accountability within the team
• Develop and implement organization-wide category strategies to optimize costs across various vendor categories
• Oversee supplier relationship management and lead high-visibility negotiations to mitigate risks and ensure long-term resilience

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
• Proven track record of managing an addressable spend of $15M to $30M+ and overseeing a high volume of vendor relationships
• Expertise in complex contract literacy and understanding of software licensing models
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred
• Masterful presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive behavioral change
