Director of Product, Banking
Job Summary
Owning the banking workstream end to end, the full-time remote Director of Product, Banking will set the strategy, lead the roadmap, and drive execution for banking and payments products, focusing on customer onboarding, transaction processing, treasury solutions, and card issuance.
Key responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap across various banking domains
- Prioritize and sequence delivery across teams, ensuring accountability from discovery through launch and iteration
- Mentor and build a team of product managers while establishing product processes and standards for scalability
Required qualifications
- 12-18 years of relevant product management experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Deep expertise in banking and/or payments with direct experience in core domains such as customer onboarding and transaction processing
- Proven track record of delivering compliant payment products with strong risk monitoring and fraud controls
- Experience in setting product strategy and translating it into actionable roadmaps
- Hands-on experience with writing PRDs and user stories, demonstrating a commitment to the craft of product management
