Director of Product Design

Job Summary

To drive innovative design solutions, the full-time salaried Director of Product Design will manage a team of two designers while overseeing the end-to-end product experience, simplifying complex problems, and collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a human-centered design approach throughout the customer journey, ensuring clarity and trustworthiness
• Lead the full design process from research and prototyping to launch, while actively participating in product strategy discussions
• Establish and refine design systems and processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced direct-to-consumer product design environment
• Demonstrated leadership in product design with a strong end-to-end product sense and systems thinking
• Proficiency in using Figma and Jira as core tools in the design workflow
• Experience with AI-assisted design workflows and a commitment to leveraging technology for improved efficiency
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build trust across cross-functional teams
