Director of Product Design

Job Summary

Leading the craft and creative direction of the platform, the full-time remote Director of Product Design will personally design complex product experiences while managing and developing a team of product designers to ensure high-quality design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design of strategic and foundational platform experiences, driving the end-to-end design process from discovery to execution
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of product designers, setting quality standards and ensuring cohesive user experiences across the platform
• Integrate AI-first design practices into the team's workflow, collaborating closely with product management and engineering leadership to shape product strategy

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience with 4+ years in a leadership role within a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional craft in visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking, particularly with complex platform work
• Hands-on experience designing for AI-powered products and familiarity with modern AI design and prototyping tools
• Proven ability to conduct user research and synthesize insights into actionable product opportunities
• Experience operating at the intersection of design and front-end development, with a focus on effective design handoffs and collaboration with engineers
