Director of Product Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Product Development (Functional Nutrition).

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full product lifecycle from concept development to post-market optimization
• Define ingredient strategy, dosing, and differentiation in partnership with R&D
• Drive cross-functional execution across R&D, Quality, Ops, Regulatory, and Marketing

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in product development (supplements, functional foods, or adjacent categories)
• Proven track record of taking products from concept to commercial launch
• Experience working with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and supply chain systems
• Strong understanding of formulation, ingredient sourcing, and manufacturing constraints
• Strong experience with regulatory frameworks (FDA, Prop 65, international compliance)
