Director of Product Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the architecture and development of software platforms, the full-time remote Director of Product Engineering will manage the product engineering organization, ensuring high-quality delivery of eClinical and Clinical Informatics solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale the product engineering organization for software products supporting eClinical and Clinical Informatics
• Define and execute engineering strategy, technical roadmap, and resource plans aligned with company goals
• Oversee software architecture, system design, and ensure compliance with security and quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering with significant leadership responsibility
• 5+ years of experience leading large engineering teams
• Strong technical background in Java, SAS, and R
• Solid experience in the life sciences industry, particularly with eClinical and Clinical Informatics software
