Director of Product Management

Job Summary

Leading the product strategy for Data Collection, Transformation, and Ingestion, the full-time remote Director of Product Management will develop vision and strategy for a core platform capability within Grafana Cloud while managing a team of Product Managers and collaborating with cross-functional partners to enhance customer experiences and drive product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the product vision and strategy for Data Collection, Transformation, and Ingestion
• Partner with senior R&D leaders to align product and technical strategy, ensuring a balanced roadmap that maximizes customer value
• Coach and develop Product Managers, strengthening their strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills

Required Qualifications

• Significant Product Management experience, including leading strategy across multiple teams or complex workflows
• Experience managing Product Managers, including coaching and performance management
• Strong technical fluency in infrastructure, cloud platforms, and observability
• Ability to identify AI opportunities that create customer value in technical products
• A BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
