Director of Product Management

Job Summary

To support the advancement of quantum computing, the full-time Director of Product Management will oversee the development of next-generation systems and experimental capabilities, ensuring timely access to new hardware for customers while collaborating with engineering and research teams, with the option to work remotely a few days a week.

Key responsibilities:

• Define product vision and roadmap for next-generation systems and experimental capabilities, coordinating launches across platforms
• Build strong relationships with engineering teams to align advancements in capability with business outcomes and customer needs
• Communicate market insights and customer needs to guide product positioning and go-to-market strategies

Required qualifications:

• Strong experience in technical product management or equivalent roles, particularly in hardware-software co-development or scientific instrumentation
• Knowledge of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information Science, and/or AMO Physics
• Proven ability to lead in ambiguous environments and drive impact through adaptability
• Passion for emerging technologies and bridging research with product delivery
• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
