Director of Product Safety

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Product Safety & Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the product safety and risk management framework in alignment with global regulations and standards
• Identify and mitigate safety and compliance risks throughout the product lifecycle, including post-market surveillance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on product safety and risk considerations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in toxicology, regulatory affairs, biology, chemistry, medical sciences, pharmacology, or public health
• 8-12+ years of experience in product safety, risk management, or regulatory roles in the dietary supplement or personal care industries
• 5+ years of experience in hiring, leading, and mentoring teams
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and international product safety regulations and cGMP standards
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional risk assessments and safety initiatives
