Director of Product Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Product Security & Privacy to oversee product security and privacy initiatives across hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and execute a comprehensive vision and strategy for Product Security and Privacy Engineering
• Lead the Product Security Review process, including threat modeling and security architecture reviews
• Define and enforce security and privacy standards within the Software Development Lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership and management experience in engineering, security, and privacy
• Experience in hiring, mentoring, and retaining specialized engineers in AppSec and Privacy Engineering
• Technical expertise in programming languages such as TypeScript, Rust, and Python
• Development experience within embedded systems and firmware design
• Ability to manage multiple complex security initiatives in a fast-paced environment
