Job Summary
Leading the strategy for seller trust across multiple product areas, the full-time Director of Product Trust will manage the roadmap for Risk and Identity, ensuring a balance between access and protection while coaching senior product managers in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set a Square-wide strategy for trust, integrating trust considerations into all seller-facing products
- Lead product initiatives across Identity Verification, Access, Disputes, and Controls, while addressing complex trust challenges
- Drive accountability for key metrics related to Risk Loss Rate and Seller Trust, collaborating across functions to enhance ecosystem health
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on leading and coaching senior product talent in regulated domains
- Demonstrated ability to originate strategy in ambiguous environments and build platform/infrastructure products
- Exceptional narrative skills for aligning teams and stakeholders around trust strategy
- Direct experience with trust & safety, risk, identity, or compliance products
- Experience managing regulatory requirements and compliance-driven product development
