Director of Production Engineering

Job Summary

Leading production engineering strategies and practices, the full-time remote Director of Production Engineering will ensure reliable and resilient production technology services, manage incident response frameworks, and drive AIOps initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and govern strategies for production reliability, observability, and operational readiness
• Oversee incident management processes, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Lead the implementation of AIOps strategies to improve service management and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of ten years of technology leadership experience in production operations or reliability engineering
• Proven experience in observability, monitoring, and incident management programs
• Architecture-level mastery of AI and cloud-based operational systems
• Strong knowledge of Service Level Objectives and operational metrics frameworks
