Director of Professional Billing

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership, the full-time Director of Professional Billing Revenue Cycle will oversee physician billing processes, manage vendor collaborations, and drive performance improvements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Billing Operations, establishing departmental priorities and performance expectations
• Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership and third-party vendors to optimize billing performance and ensure timely reimbursement
• Lead the transformation and continuous improvement of physician revenue cycle processes to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of physician revenue cycle operations, including billing, claims management, and payer reimbursement methodologies
• Strong understanding of CPT coding principles and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimize revenue capture
• Proficiency with healthcare technology systems, including Epic, for reporting and performance monitoring
• Ability to interpret data and develop actionable solutions based on performance trends and root cause analysis
