Director of Project Development

Job Summary

To advance acquired and partially developed energy storage projects through completion and construction handoff, the full-time salaried Director of Project Development will evaluate acquisition opportunities, manage permitting and stakeholder engagement, and oversee multiple projects in a high-ownership environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead acquired and partially developed BESS projects through final-stage development and construction handoff
• Support development diligence for acquisition opportunities, including project-readiness assessments
• Identify development risks and gaps that could impact project schedule or value

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in renewable energy, storage, power, or energy infrastructure development
• Proven track record advancing projects through late-stage development and construction handoff
• Experience conducting development diligence for project acquisitions or investments
• Strong understanding of permitting, land acquisition, and development risk management
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong execution discipline
