Director of Project Development

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Director of Project Development, the full-time role will advance acquired and partially developed energy storage projects through final-stage development, NTP readiness, and construction handoff while managing multiple projects in a lean environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead acquired and partially developed BESS projects through final-stage development and construction handoff
• Support development diligence for acquisition opportunities, including project-readiness assessments
• Identify development risks and gaps, translating findings into recommendations for stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in renewable energy, storage, power, or energy infrastructure development
• Experience advancing projects through late-stage development and NTP readiness
• Strong understanding of permitting, land acquisition, and development risk management
• Ability to evaluate project readiness and identify critical development gaps
• Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong execution discipline
