Director of Project Management

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Project Management to lead large scale utility solar projects across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers overseeing utility scale solar projects
• Own project execution strategy from late stage development through construction and closeout
• Serve as the primary internal escalation point for schedule, budget, and risk management

Required Qualifications

• Majority of professional experience must come from an Independent Power Producer environment
• Extensive experience managing utility scale solar projects of 100MW or larger
• Proven track record delivering large scale solar projects from pre-construction through COD
• Strong understanding of EPC contracts, project finance considerations, and owner side risk management
• Experience managing and scaling high performing project management teams
