Director of Proposals
Job Summary
Leading the full lifecycle of proposal development, the full-time Director of Proposals will manage a high-performing team to support federal government contracting opportunities while working remotely with occasional travel to corporate locations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of compliant proposals for DoD customers
- Oversee proposal development processes, ensuring adherence to internal and external requirements
- Collaborate with capture managers to refine proposal strategies and maintain the corporate proposal knowledge base
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or communications, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of experience in federal proposal development
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing proposal teams
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and government procurement processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret/top secret clearance
