Director of Prospect Research

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Prospect Research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on prospective donors and create biographical profiles
• Administer the prospect research program, strategize with gift officers, and monitor philanthropic trends
• Support special projects in prospect research and contribute to the maintenance of the donor database

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional experience in prospect research, or 5 years of relevant experience without a degree
• Prior experience in prospect research in a higher education setting is preferred
• Knowledge of the greater philanthropic landscape and fundraising-focused prospect research principles
• Experience with donor databases, prospect management systems, and data mining methodologies
• Interest in or knowledge of aviation is a plus
