Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year strategies to optimize Total Cost of Ownership for proteins
• Manage supplier relationships and lead strategic supplier network planning
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks related to protein sourcing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 7+ years of experience in procurement or category management with a focus on strategic sourcing
• Deep experience in the human food meat/poultry/seafood supply chain
• Proven track record in managing volatility in protein markets
• Understanding of international freight, customs clearance, and USDA/FDA regulations
• History of delivering cost savings and driving cross-functional collaboration
