Job Summary
Leading governmental affairs and community engagement initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Public Affairs will manage relationships with stakeholders, oversee corporate giving strategies, and coordinate industry association engagement while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develops and implements state and local governmental relations strategies, including legislative tracking and stakeholder relationship management
- Manages corporate giving strategies and budgets, aligning philanthropic investments with business objectives
- Coordinates community engagement programs and ensures active participation in national industry associations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Policy, Political Science, Public Affairs, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in governmental or public affairs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of governmental relations and community engagement practices
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and legislative monitoring
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage departmental functions
