Director of Quality and Regulatory

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, the full-time salaried Director of Quality and Regulatory will ensure product safety and compliance with regulations, lead quality assurance and regulatory teams, and develop quality management systems while fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute quality and regulatory strategies, set departmental goals, and manage the budget
• Lead and mentor the quality assurance and regulatory affairs team, promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulatory standards and oversee product safety programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in product quality and/or regulatory affairs for consumer products, with a focus on QMS development
• Proven leadership experience in developing quality assurance and regulatory teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to cross-functional teams
• Experience working with global suppliers and managing supplier quality requirements and audits
