Director of Quality Assurance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Quality Assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive QA vision for hardware reliability and cloud applications
• Transition manual processes into a scalable automation framework and select appropriate automation tools
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure alignment with engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in QA/Validation roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
• Proven experience testing physical products, particularly streaming media and A/V systems
• Deep understanding of modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, PyTest, Selenium, and Appium
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, C++, or Java
• Experience in establishing KPIs and reporting metrics related to quality assurance
