Director of Quality Assurance

Job Summary

Leading a remote team, the full-time salaried Director of Quality Assurance will modernize the QA strategy by leveraging AI throughout the software quality lifecycle, ensuring the reliability and performance of mission-critical systems in the insurance ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end quality strategy, including test planning, automation, and performance testing across Ivans platforms
• Define and execute a modern QA roadmap that integrates AI for test case generation, defect prediction, and risk-based release readiness
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality into all stages of the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Significant experience leading QA or test automation teams in a technology-driven organization
• Strong understanding of the full QA lifecycle, including test strategy, automation, and production quality monitoring
• Experience utilizing AI and intelligent automation to enhance QA processes
• Proven track record of building modern automation frameworks for APIs and cloud-native applications
• Leadership experience in coaching managers and driving accountability across teams
