Director of Quality Control

Job Summary

Owning the independent Quality Control function across BSA/AML & Sanctions Operations, the remote Director of Quality Control will set the strategy and framework for QC, lead a multi-tier team, and design the QC program while managing budget and resource planning.

Key responsibilities

• Own the QC strategy and operating model across multiple review populations, ensuring independence from production authority
• Design and govern the sampling methodology and error taxonomy, aligning with regulatory documentation standards
• Lead and develop the QC team, managing performance and talent development while interfacing with Independent Testing and Internal Audit

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• CAMS certification required; CFE, CFCS, or CRCM strongly preferred
• 10+ years of BSA/AML experience, including quality assurance or independent testing
• 5+ years of experience in people leadership, including leading leaders and scaling functions
• Demonstrated experience in designing sampling methodologies and error taxonomies within a regulated environment
