Director of Quality Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Quality Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision for quality using a combination of traditional testing and automation
• Take responsibility for complex quality initiatives and make architectural decisions regarding test automation frameworks
• Establish feedback loops and post-incident processes to learn from technical mistakes and prevent future regressions

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in quality engineering or software quality assurance
• At least 3+ years in a senior leadership role managing multiple teams
• Strong hands-on technical leadership in building automated testing suites for customer-facing products
• Proven ability to make architectural decisions for large-scale test infrastructure
• A background in enterprise software and fintech is preferred
