Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Quality Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Own quality end-to-end by defining and executing cross-product test strategies
• Serve as the final release gatekeeper, with authority to halt releases that do not meet quality standards
• Build and lead the QA team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA or Software Engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role
• Proven experience in B2C, SaaS, APIs, or AI/ML platforms
• Strong track record of exercising release authority and making quality decisions
• Data-driven approach to defining and tracking quality metrics
• Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD quality gates
