Director of R and D Digital Strategy

Job Summary

Leading a team focused on digital product strategy for R&D, the full-time Director of R&D Digital Strategy will oversee the delivery and operational excellence of platforms supporting research, clinical development, and regulatory functions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the DEC strategy across R&D by translating business priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
• Ensure compliance with GxP and other regulatory requirements while overseeing platform health and evolution
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, managing vendor relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with enterprise standards

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in R&D-related systems and products within the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated ownership of R&D solutions and accountability in GxP-regulated environments
• Experience with enterprise ownership of digital platforms supporting R&D and regulated operations
• Bachelor's degree in a related science, technology, or Information Systems field
• Proven track record of delivering measurable, value-based outcomes and leading high-performing teams
