Director of Regional Development

Job Summary

To support a growing organization, the full-time Director of Regional Development will lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive multi-regional fundraising strategy, focusing on securing funding from institutional partners across New York/New Jersey, Michigan, New England, and Pennsylvania, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Advance organizational strategic priorities by aligning fundraising efforts with revenue goals and building regional annual plans
• Lead the development and execution of a multi-regional fundraising strategy, ensuring accountability for achieving revenue targets of $500,000-$600,000 annually
• Collaborate with regional Executive Directors to identify and secure new funding opportunities while ensuring cohesive fundraising practices across regions

Required qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising with a proven track record in securing six-figure gifts and managing complex development structures
• Strong experience in developing and executing fundraising strategies aligned with national priorities across multiple regions
• Experience in collaborating across departments and coaching regional fundraising staff
• Proficiency in pipeline development, forecasting, and performance monitoring across diverse geographic areas
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and managing complex fundraising data
