Director of Regional Development

Job Summary

Leading the creation and execution of a comprehensive, multi-regional development strategy, the full-time Director of Regional Development will focus on achieving annual fund development targets while working remotely, preferably from California, the Pacific Northwest, or Utah.

Key responsibilities

• Advance organizational strategic priorities by aligning multi-regional fundraising efforts with goals for corporate and foundation partnerships
• Lead the development and execution of a fundraising strategy to achieve new revenue targets of $500,000-$600,000 annually across assigned regions
• Collaborate with regional Executive Directors and national leaders to identify and secure new funding opportunities while ensuring cohesive fundraising practices across regions

Required qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising with a proven track record in securing six-figure gifts and managing complex development structures
• Experience in developing and executing fundraising strategies across multiple regions, aligning local efforts with national priorities
• Strong background in pipeline development, forecasting, and performance monitoring across diverse geographic areas
• Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and managing complex fundraising data
• Ability to lead collaboratively and foster alignment within a mission-driven organizational culture
