Director of Regulatory Compliance

Job Summary

Owning the regulatory and supply infrastructure for Consumables SKUs, the full-time salaried Director of Regulatory Compliance will ensure compliance with EU/UK, Health Canada, and FDA frameworks while managing tech transfers and maintaining quality standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce a complete supply risk map for all active SKUs and validate alternative suppliers for high-risk items
• Serve as the final approval authority on all supplier artwork and manage compliance decisions in-house
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturers and testing facilities, ensuring timely remediation of non-conformances

Required qualifications

• Deep working knowledge of EU/UK, Health Canada, and FDA regulatory frameworks for cosmetics and personal care
• Proven experience managing tech transfers and understanding documentation requirements
• Active supplier network in the haircare, body, or fragrance manufacturing space
• Experience with retail partner compliance submissions across major US retailers
• Fluent with AI tools for regulatory research and documentation workflows
