Job Summary
To provide strategic and scientific leadership for a nationally recognized rehabilitation research program, the full-time salaried Director of Rehab Research in the Spinal Cord Injury Division will oversee research initiatives, mentor staff, secure funding, and enhance the organization's reputation in rehabilitation science, with a hybrid work schedule available for candidates in specific states.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the rehabilitation research enterprise for the Spinal Cord Injury Division
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term research strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with academic institutions, healthcare organizations, and industry partners
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- Minimum seven (7) years of leadership experience in a research role
- Demonstrated success in obtaining federal research funding
- Expertise in research design, statistical analysis, and peer-reviewed publications
- Strong track record of mentorship and team leadership
