Director of Research

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Research to lead and scale its research program.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and publish studies evaluating clinical AI systems, managing the full research lifecycle
• Build and manage academic partnerships, structuring joint studies and coordinating multi-site research efforts
• Drive health economics and value demonstration by developing savings methodologies and translating clinical data for stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (PhD preferred) such as health services research or health economics
• Experience designing and leading applied research studies independently with a track record of peer-reviewed publications
• Familiarity with AI/ML evaluation methodologies in healthcare settings
• Experience with claims data, EHR data, or clinical operations data
• Strong understanding of health economics concepts including cost-effectiveness analysis and value-based care frameworks
